This course will prepare seniors to write and present their senior seminar papers. With this in mind, we will discuss historiography and the nature of historical inquiry in preparation for each student's own research. We will also discuss the age-old question of "What is History?" as well as thepurpose of historical study and analysis. On a related note, we will examine various types of history, and we will learn historical methodology. We will also consider the career opportunities for history majors as well as address the topic of graduate school and law school. Prerequisite: History Major and Senior Standing.
