Pass/no credit only An intensive twelve-week course which provides teacher-candidates seeking adolescent/young adult licensure the opportunity to teach in their licensure area, implementing curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques developmentally appropriate for adolescent/young adult learners. Candidates will engage in reflective practices designed to improve their teaching. Guidelines established by the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession, Praxis, specialty professional associations and Ohio Academic Content Standards will be used to assess teacher-candidates. Prerequisites: All professional education courses.
