The course may be arranged around a theme (such as "Post-colonialism" or "The Epic Impulse"), concentrate on importaworks of a single author or geographical area ("The Novels of West Africa,""Nabokov's Russian and American Novels"), or examine examples of specific genre of writing (such as "African and Australian plays," "EnglisPoetry in Asia"). Recent offerings include: "20th-Century Indian Literature ?ostcolonial Literature" Not recommended for English majors.
