This course examines public administration at the local level. It describes the challenges facing administrators, while also examining the connections with the larger environmental context and the framework of public administration. This course also focuses upon the tasks of municipal management and assists students in critically assessing the state of the practice. Prerequisite: POL 161 or POL 262. Credits: 3 hours NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
