CHIN 113 - Elementary Chinese II

An extension of Elementary Chinese I continuing and perfecting previously introduced skills. More complex grammatical structures are introduced as well as more vocabulary. Oral-aural skills are reinforced through daily conversation. Five classroom hours per week plus one hour peer learning session per week are required. Prerequisite: CHIN 112. Credits: 4 hours NOTE: Successful completion of CHIN 113 fulfills the Foreign Language Interconnecting Perspective of the Liberal Studies Program. NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
