0 credits. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Honors Program. Corequisite: Honors 101. This course is intended primarily as a student-led discussion class aimed at helping first-semester students make the transition from high school to college. This course also provides students with information on the Honors Program. The course is modeled after Introduction to University Life with a few modifications: more emphasis on writing and the peer review process; incorporation of readings and discussion topics that parallel the Honors Program first-semester course, Constructing the Self (Honors 101); and exposure to a range of cultural and educational experiences on campus and in the community. The course meets once a week for an hour. F
