3 credits. Prerequisite: IT 211. A study of computer integrated systems and their designs as utilized by industry to facilitate the manufacturing and production processes. Subject matter to be covered includes, but is not limited to, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), microcontrollers and robots. Students will also utilize commercial computer-aided design tools, i.e., Multism and Ultiboard to design, test, and manufacture their own circuit boards where necessary. S/2
