4 credits. Prerequisites: Avit 101 or Avit 102, and Avit 260. Utilizing the 3D tower simulator, the students are taught the basic, advanced, and fundamental local control tower operations, structure, procedures, tower concepts, theories, positions, and facility levels (5-7). Students will build on the knowledge gained in Avit 260 ATC Tower Operations I. Students will be required to demonstrate the basic knowledge by applying radar arrivals/departure procedures. To complete this course, students will be required to demonstrate their basic knowledge of control tower operations through written examinations and performance scenarios. An ATC lab is required.
