An introduction to the principles and practice of herbarium taxonomy, emphasizing species description, identification, how to access and use the taxonomic literature, data basing, nomenclature, curation, and collecting and the national and international regulations governing it.? Two hours of lectures per week, projects including specimen curation, writing species description, etc., to be arranged. Offered every even year.
