The Internship is designed to advance the graduate student's professional skill through full-time placement in the schools. Under the direct supervision of an on-site or state or nationally certified School Psychologist, the Intern will complete assignments which encompass the full range of school psychologist leadership and functioning in schools. The Internship is the culmination of classroom and field experience from the first three semesters, and will prepare the graduate student for employment in a school setting upongraduation. May be repeated for a total of 9 credits. (Spring, Summer, Fall). Prerequisites: satisfactory completion of all program requirements (with the exception of PSY504 Master's Thesis) and a State Education Department Internship Certificate.
