For advanced or graduate students in Spanish who will work under faculty supervision. In addition to conducting conversation sessions, students will gain experience in planning classroom activities, preparing materials for classroom use and working within various methodologies. A contract specifying the student's responsibilities will be filed with the department chairperson. (Spring, Fall). Liberal arts. Prerequisite: by faculty invitation only; ACTFL rating of intermediate-high oral skills, minimum; 3.3 GPA (B+ average in Spanish courses; 2.5 cumulative GPA.
