This course introduces techniques for what is known as modern free-heel skiing. The Nordic component includes backcountry skills with an extended cross-country tour; the alpine component includes downhill techniques for varied terrain. Pass/Fail grade based on participation. Prerequisite or Corequisite: PED186 or equivalent. (Spring).
