Follow-up to Rock Climbing I, this course offers a progression of additional movement techniques and practice with top-rope climbing systems. PED 181 includes rappel techniques, and use of friction hitches for self-belay, among other new skills. Pass/Fail grade based on participation. (Fall, Spring, Summer). Prerequisite or Corequisite: PED180 or equivalent top-rope experience.
