Principles of finance and their application to typical financial problems in business management. Theory of financial decision-making with emphasis on application to practical decision problems. Topics include risk and return, certainty and uncertainty, pricing of financial assets, capital structure, valuation (options and futures, mergers and acquisitions, pensions and leading), and cost of capital, dividend policy, and working capital management case studies.
