Study of methods of the singing actor. Exploration of basic technical aspects of acting, including concentration, motivation, stimulus-response, decisions/transitions and creation of character as they are applied to scenes from musicals, opera or operetta. Public performance of staged scenes. (Winter/Spring/Summer). Liberal arts. Prerequisites: by audition with instructor and recommended MUS233 Voice Class or previous experience in a choral ensemble.
