This course explores the historical, theoretical, and philosophical foundations of early childhood programs. It also examines specific curriculum models and instructional strategies with an emphasis on inclusion within developmentally appropriate practice. Current issues and research in the field of early childhood education will be investigated. (Fall). Corequisite: HDF211. Prerequisite: 2.3 cumulative GPA.
