In-depth investigation of a significant historical problem: review and assessment of appropriate secondary literature, identification and study of relevant primary sources, development of interpretative thesis and the production of an analytical essay. Topic to be determined under supervision of Honors Project Faculty Sponsor and faculty committee. Public defense of project at its conclusion. Prerequisites: six credits in history; GPA of 3.5 in all history courses; cumulative GPA of 3.2.
