The evolution of the Earth, the life it supports, and its surface landscapes are explained. The practices within the context of the scientific method. The interactions between natural Earth processes and human activities and their relationship to modern environmental issues and concerns are examined. Lecture and laboratory. (Spring, Summer & Fall).
