Not only a border between communities, frontiers are cultural intersections that force the inhabitants to reexamine their beliefs about civilization, race and human nature. Examines frontiers around the world from Roman times to the present, emphasizing the experiences and memories of individuals living at the meeting of two worlds. (Fall/Spring). Liberal arts.
