Identifies the ideas and planning necessary to mount an adventure expedition. Recognizing a process that applies to all expeditions, EXP435 prepares students in the Expeditionary Studies major for their senior expedition. The course covers all aspects of expedition planning, including creating a team to designing a risk management plan to researching goals. Students in this class will prepare an expedition prospectus. Approved AWR. Prerequisites: 6 hours of 300 level EXP coursework, enrollment in at least 3 hours of 400 level EXP coursework. (Fall).
