Literary works, forms, conventions, devices, trends, and sensibilities are studied in relationship to the scientific/cultural environments they arise from and respond to. Works studied range from the ancient Greek drama to postmodernism. Poetry, fiction, and drama are included. (Annually). Liberal arts.
