Respond to increasing diversity in classrooms through more conscious awareness and use of multiple, integrated, practical, and creative problem-solving strategies adapted to the specific needs and interests of children in all areas of literacy. Explore literature that reflects diversity. Embedded within the course content is the recognition that each learner is unique and that there is a commonality in the social context in which learning occurs. (Spring, Summer, Fall).
