Introduction to methods of solution to numerical problems. Emphasis is given to obtaining accurate results by utilizing methods of estimating the magnitude of error and techniques for controlling error. Numerical algorithms used in programming problems include: synthetic division, root finding, interpolation, least squares, numerical integration and solution of ordinary differential equations.
