Examination of the theoretical principles and practical aspects of instrumental methods of chemical analysis with emphasis on their strengths and limitations in identification and quantitative determination of chemical compounds. Discussion of applications of spectroscopic, chromatographic and electrochemical techniques in studying problems encountered in inorganic, organic physical and biochemistry. Lecture/laboratory.
