This course is designed to introduce students to Canadian Art. Art as a product of its time and place will be the central theme throughout the course. Art as a way a culture perceives and expresses itself will be a secondary focus. Students will have an experiential learning experience as part of a field trip to Canada. They will learn to make presentations to the class. They will use the facilities of the smart classroom and PowerPoint and/or similar software. (Spring). Liberal arts. Prerequisite: CAS111 or POI.
