Seminar integrating recent scholarship on women and women's ways of knowing into a broader study of gender issues in education, including socialization of men and women through education; socialization of women and men teachers and administrators and the costs and benefits of these structures for men and women. The course will focus on application of these issues to policy and practice in education today. Prerequisite: Junior, senior or graduate level; education methods course. Consent of instructor.?
