(O) Information, equipment and practical experiences allow students to quickly acquire the skills necessary to participate in one of the fastest growing winter activities?- snowshoeing. Participants will learn backcountry navigation, dressing for the season and equipment selection. Local natural areas will be explored on snowshoe. A special fee will be charged for field trip expenses. Grading: S, U grades assigned. (1 cr. hr.)
