This course focuses on advanced recreation programming for special events. Content areas include publicizing, targeting audiences, implementation, impact assessment and evaluation of special events. Application of conceptual and practical procedures will include the Annual Cortland Recreation Conference during the fall semester. This special event attracts more than 400 students and practitioners in the field of recreation, leisure and park services. Prerequisite: REC 427. (2 cr. hr.)
