This is an introductory course in physical education teaching methodology. The main purpose is for the student to study, practice and acquire basic teaching skills applicable to K-12 physical education instruction. The course prepares the student for required New York State field experiences and also introduces the learner to New York State standards-based instruction, curriculum and assessment. Prerequisites: PED 201 and cumulative 2.5 grade point average. Fulfills: PRES. (3 cr. hr.)
