(S) The field experience will provide students with the opportunity to develop specific competencies in athletic training. Based on prerequisite requirements, this experience provides for a progressive development of technical skills and knowledge as part of an ongoing two-year field experience as required by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). This experience partially fulfills the minimum field experience requirement. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the athletic training program. (1 cr. hr.)
