(O) This course will examine the role of the family as a determinant of health and illness behavior of its members throughout the life span. The family's role in health promotion, disease prevention, disease detection, treatment and rehabilitation will be studied. Family involvement in and social support for health behavior change programs will also be addressed. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
