Covers formulation of goals, needs assessment, selection and design of one-time or ongoing event, planning, coordination, revenue generation, marketing, sponsorship, risk management, security, implementation and evaluation. Includes formats such as fairs, festivals, sporting events, grand openings and different levels of managerial involvement. Requires the planning and implementation of a special event. 3 Cr. Spring
