Provides an introduction to the theory of special relativity; kinetic molecular theory; the concept of quantization as it applies to matter, charge and energy; the postulates of quantum mechanics; and the solutions of the quantum mechanical wave equation for the simple harmonic oscillator and the hydrogen atom.
