Includes electrostatic and magnetic fields in vacuum and in matter, time-varying fields, magnetic induction, Maxwell ? Equations and the propagation of electromagnetic waves. May include applications to superconductors, wave guides and radiation fields. Three hours of lecture per week. 3 Cr. Spring
