Prerequisite: JPN 112. This course introduces more complex grammatical structures and new vocabulary. The activities focus more on grammatical exercises in order to help students to develop more expressive language ability. Dialogue practices will be held in class and Japanese culture, customs, history, social practices will be discussed as related to each topic. Considerable work outside of class is required to maintain continued progress. 3 Cr. Fall
