Introduction to the relationships between plants and the environment including physiological ecology and describing the plant environment; population ecology and interactions between plants and other organisms; and community ecology including plant diversity and temporal dynamics. Field exercises explore local plant communities using experimental and quantitative techniques. Students analyze and discuss current readings in plant ecology. 4 Cr. Odd Fall
