Prerequisite: CHM 206. Course fee. Introduction to analytical methods with emphasis on statistical evaluation of quantitative data and sampling strategies, analytical applications of acid-base equilibria, and chromatographic separations. Also includes a survey of classical volumetric methods, quantitative absorption spectrophotometry, and an introduction to ion selective electrode potentiometry. Three hours lecture and four hours lab per week. 4 Cr.
