Also seeks to determine the validity of the claims of looming deficiencies of scientists in the near future. Assesses the roles that women scientists can and should play in meeting this problem. DOES NOT FULFILL ELECTIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR CHEMISTRY MAJOR OR MINOR. Three hours of lecture/discussion per week. 3 Cr. Spring
