Continuation of CHM 305: aromaticity; the chemical reactions of aromatic compounds; the nomenclature, structure, and chemistry of carbonyl compounds; oxidation and reduction reactions; carbohydrate chemistry; amino acids, peptides and proteins; polymers; spectroscopy; multistep synthesis; and the chemical literature.
