Prerequisites: ECN 204 and BUS 345. Completion of ENL 308 strongly advised. Discusses and contrasts various organizational systems and behaviors that promote product and service quality. Investigates micro-level individual behaviors and macro-level organizational issues and policies that impact quality. Helps students understand how some management and organizational systems represent barriers to quality. Explores how approaches to quality differ across the international business community. Includes these topics: TQM, continuous improvement, process re-engineering, benchmarking, statistical process control, and ISO standards. 3 Cr. Spring
