Prerequisites or corequisites: MTH 112 and ENL 112. Course fee. A physical science Knowledge Area course with laboratory which deals with the methods of science in intellectual and practical spheres. Examines contributions of both women and men in the development of current understandings and explanations. Considers the proper roles of citizens and government as related to scientific questions. Provides practice in correct use of scientific terminology and standard English in written and oral communication. Three hours of lecture/discussion and two hours of lab per week. 4 Cr.
