Prerequisite: ART 212. Course fee. Familiarizes students with the conceptual, technical, and visual vocabulary of sculpture well enough to create dimensional works of artistic merit and personal expression. Expects students to gain basic skills with materials as well as understanding of sculptural concepts. Designs problems to distinguish between technique and idea in sculpture, and how materials are used to express concepts. 3 Cr.
