Develops students' critical writing, reading and thinking skills. Students learn the importance of revising through written commentary on drafts, individual conferences, in-class group work, peer commentary and individual work with course assistants from the English, General Literature and Rhetoric Department. Most class assignments center on writing proficiency and communication skills, testing the students' ability to use language effectively. A formal presentation is required. Corequisite: WTSN 111 ( linked). fall only, 2 cr.
