Study of the sources of contemporary feminist thought and the directions feminism has taken since the sixties. Contemporary feminism analyzed both as a historical movement and as a body of political theory. Particular attention will be paid to diversity within feminist theory and its differences with traditional political theory. Prerequisite(s): A Wss 101 or 101Z or 220 or 220Z or R Pos 101 or permission of instructor.
