This class will introduce participants to the concepts that are essential to evaluation. Topics discussed will include: program measures (methods, management characteristics, etc.), participant measures, intervening measures (changes in economy, management, demographics, etc.), impact measures, different viewpoints of evaluation (program participants, program staff, policy makers, etc.), and measurement levels (individual vs. agency vs. society).
