Focuses on urbanization, industrialization, export-oriented development, and participation in global trade, finance and politics.? Taught in Shanghai, this multidisciplinary course helps students understand the dynamics of China's rapid economic growth over the last three decades, and how Chinese scholars interpret the nation's growing importance in the global system.
