A study of painting, sculpture, architecture, garden design, graphic and decorative arts produced in Europe during the eighteenth century. Special emphasis will be placed upon the original context, use and significance of the art, as well as upon the association between artmaking and philosophical pursuits during this era of profound European change. Prerequisite(s): A Arh 171 or permission of instructor.
