It is designed to help the prospective physical education teacher identify and understand the unique problems of the disabled individual giving specific consideration to mental retardation, pervasive development disorders, learning disabilities mental health disorders, physical disabilities, communication and visual disorders, health impairments, aging, juvenile and adult corrections.
