Analyzes methods of teaching mathematics in early childhood and elementary classrooms and integrating mathematics in other content areas in ways that are developmentally appropriate and are reflective of the NCTM standards. Methodology includes developing investigative lesson plans, using technology and learning centers in the math classroom, evaluating mathematics textbooks, formulating performance goals and objectives, and assessing the learning of mathematics. Prerequisites: EDU 2113, 2313, two college level math courses above MAT 0123.
