Introduction to the multinational business organization and environmental factors of international business. Emphasis on the development of sound problem-solving, decision-making methods in the analysis of environmental and organizational variables. The course also examines strategies for firms involved in marketing across national borders and in other countries. Special attention is given to planning and implementing marketing mix variables in international settings. Prerequisites: MGT 3013 and MKT 3023. BUS 4771-3. International Experience (1-3 hours) (On demand) Inter-cultural experience and international travel. Requires a minimum of four weeks spent outside of the United States. For International Business program students, the country should ideally correspond to the specific modern language chosen in the degree plan. Students are responsible for costs of international travel and activities, in addition to the tuition.
